We have been active in shipbroking since 1976 keeping a family tradition in the business and building up strong personal relationships which today represent our position in the market. We work to provide our clients with a custom made service which is adjusted every time depending on the specifically required needs for maximum support.

Our history

In 1976 Enrico Scolaro founded Enrico Scolaro Shipbrokers keeping on an old family tradition in shipbroking.
1976 – Enrico Scolaro Shipbrokers Srl was founded
1983 – Maria Carossino Scolaro joins the company
1991 – The offices were moved from Genova’s city center to the outskirts, Genova Nervi, where we still stay
1997 – Fabio Carbone joins the company after working as a seaman
2004 – Francesca Paolillo joins the company after working on cruise Vessels as a cadet purser
2009 – Tommaso Scolaro joins the company
2018 - Andrea Brandaglia joins the company

From 1976, he made his way through these years making Enrico Scolaro Shipbrokers Srl as it is today.

Maria Carossino Scolaro

Senior Broker - Director & Administration

Crucial for the development and growth of the company adding the otherwise missing lady’s touch.

Fabio Carbone


He moved in the company in 1997, where he grew as a shipbroker and has soon become a specialist of Sale & Purchase and Chartering.

Francesca Paolillo


Francesca joined Enrico Scolaro Shipbrokers in 2004 and after training in post-fixture now she takes care of Chartering.

Tommaso Scolaro

Broker - Director

Tommaso joined the company in 2009 after a period in Hong Kong. Today he follows Sale & Purchase and Chartering.

Andrea Brandaglia


Andrea joined the company in 2018 after his graduation in Maritime Economics at the university of Genova.
